37 MM Single Use Plastic Adapters

Lightfield is now offering a unique alternative in 37mm Specialty Impact Munitions (SIMS). Our new 37mm single use loads offer characteristics not otherwise available in the industry.

The new loads are built around Lightfield's patented Star projectile. The ribbed plastic shells each contain a standard SuperStar or StarLite 12 ga load permanently fixed inside. The 12 ga load in the 37mm body gives new life to the otherwise outdated 37mm platform.

Some agencies and Institutions avoid deploying 12 ga SIMS based on the possibility of inadvertently inserting a 'lethal' load. In so doing, they find that the 37mm loadings are both very expensive and have minimum engagement distances that often prohibit most close range deployments. These new loads provide 1 and 2 yard engagement distances per shot cost of 1/3 to 1/2 that of other brands. These loads are ideal for single shot and multi-launchers in both police and corrections environments.

These loads have a shape and feel that is unmistakable even in the dark. They also offer a boldly colored 'headstamp' style label that gives the operator confidence the correct load is in the weapon.
